Hi. I'm Danielle LaGourgue, Kristen Weaver's sister. As you may have heard, Kristen and her sweet family have suffered a tremendous loss. Kristen's partner and fiancé, Ben passed away suddenly last week at the age of 43. Kristen, Thea, Kristen's two step kids, Asher and Tony and Ben's entire family are in disbelief and working to wrap their heads around what life will look like without Ben's love, support and immense presence. He was THE BEST.

On top of the grief that Kristen is experiencing, she is navigating the complicated process of relocating while living on a single income, unexpectedly (in the heart of Silicon Valley). Ben passed away on the day they were moving and Kristen is unable to take on the originally planned new apartment. She quickly relocated into a small one bedroom for a temporary period of time while she navigates what the next few months and years of her life will look like, for her and Thea.

Kristen has the immediate support she needs to be safe but as the next few months unfold, support from her friends and family will be more crucial than ever. We are hoping to establish a nest egg that Kristen can pull from as she navigates finding a better suited place for her and Thea to live, costs of needing to move again, extended childcare for Thea, funding groceries and probably more takeout food than is typical for her but will be necessary during this intense time of grieving and other life costs. Understandably, her plans, including financial, were impacted hugely with the loss of her sweet Ben.
