10/25/2023 update: Hi everyone! A huge thank you to all of you who have donated, texted, called and prayed for Kristen over these past few months. She is so very appreciative of all of the support. As you all know, Kristen has not been able to work at all during this time and she's still in Canada. She is weak, and mornings are toughest for her, but as you already know she is a fighter and your support has given her hope in the dark days of this whole situation.
I wanted to jump on and share the cautiously optimistic update I got from Kristen this morning. Things are quite positive since the last update, and for that I am SO SO thankful. Thankfully she does not have the autoimmune mast cell (MCAS) but IS having histamine issues. She also has mercury poisoning, mold toxicity and fungal issues. She starts a new treatment tomorrow to tackle these issues. The medical team is hopeful she will be able to return to Florida in the next 2-4 weeks and hopefully get back to work as well but that all depends on how her treatment that starts tomorrow goes.
Let's send some prayers her way for success with this new treatment, and for her to get back to good health soon.
And of course, if you feel led to make another donation to help her with her expenses during this time, please do.
I appreciate you all!
xx
Rebecca
9/15/2023 update: Unfortunately Kristen’s symptoms have worsened and she’s waiting to get into a new specialist, which is currently scheduled for October.
She is staying positive through the news and is currently being tested for MCAS, which is extremely hard to diagnose.
Please continue to pray for Kristen and her Doctors as she is on this journey. Pray for healing and restoration of her gut bacteria as she walks this journey.
Original post: Hey hey everyone Rebecca here! Long time client of Kristen and small business owner myself.
Over the past few months, our favorite lash Queen has become very sick with some intestinal issues. These issues require intense treatments that are keeping her from being able to work .
As a small business owner, insurance coverage isn’t always the best, and not being able come into work leaves Kristen behind the 8-ball with the mounting medical costs, having to temporarily close her business, plus having to continue to pay her home mortgage payment so she has a home to come back to.
She is expected to be out of work for 3-4 more months and that’s where we come in.
She has been there for us all of these years and it’s our turn to be there for her during this time.
All money goes straight to her, and every little bit helps.
Join me in praying for Kristen’s health to be restored, and her to be back in business soon.
God bless you all,
Rebecca
