Kristen Piel's emergency fund

Early Thursday morning June 25th 2020 My sister, Kristen Piel, woke up to take care of her son. He had an accident in the bed and this was at 3:00 a.m. When she got up she could not see, breathe, or move. She began to have what we thought was a seizure. She called 911 and was rushed to the emergency room in Rockford. When she got to the hospital her heart was not able to keep any type of stable rhythm. She was having constant arrhythmia. She was having 20 beats a minute and the next second her heart would be at 200 beats a minute. She was continuously being shocked. She was transferred from her original hospital too Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford where she is currently in ICU in critical condition! When she got there she still not able to maintain a pulse that would keep her alive. She was shocked eight times total. Her nurse explained to me that if she was not there, she would have died. If she had gone to sleep at home and not gone to the emergency room she would have died. No ifs ands or buts about it! She is still in critical condition with a temporary pacemaker until she can get a defibrillator placed into her hopefully on Monday.  Her heart is 100% paced which means its not working on its own at all. With all of this going on She cannot be home to take care of her amazing 4-year-old son and they really arent sure when she will be able to come home. My brother-in-law is the sole provider of income for the family and he is going to have to be home to take care of their child, and also keep an eye on Kristen. We do not know how long she's going to need somebody home with her. She will have a defibrillator at the rest of her life. on Monday is when she will have the surgery to put the defibrillator in. She will not be able to live without it. She is not in the clear whatsoever. I am asking for anybody to help because they are already having extreme financial difficulties, and this is going to put so much more strain on them. With her having the issues with her heart, I want to take off as much stress as I possibly can. We don't know right now how long my brother-in-law will be off work. If you can please donate to help relieve some of the stress I know they are feeling. Please also keep my sister and my nephew and all of my family in your prayers. Especially my sister. To know that she died 8 times and was brought back to life is a feeling I wish nobody ever had. Thank you in advance for trying to help. I know she really appreciates it. She does not like to ask anybody for anything, so for her to agree to this is very strong of her. I just don't want my sister to feel any more stress than she does right now.  We have set a goal of 3000.00 to help cover a months worth of expenses. we know God is in control and ask those who pray, to please pray for her family.
