Kristen Beaudry ♥️ Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

We are raising money to support Kristen Beaudry, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a highly aggressive type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. 

Kristen’s prognosis is good and her doctors are confident that she will have a full recovery, however, she will require substantial medical attention in order to successfully recover. Kristen's medication costs alone, are costing her family thousands per month even after insurance. In addition, her doctors are located in Edmonton. Kristen and her family have to travel back and forth between their home in Grande Prairie and to Edmonton for her appointments and chemo therapy. They're struggling with the cost of fuel, food and hotel accommodations. 

On its own, this would be a lot to take on, but she also has two children under 12, Keira and Kyler, for whom she was a full-time caregiver. Long story short, this young family is looking at a crippling financial situation. They are down to only one income and have to absorb countless additional expenses. 

Kristen will be heading to Calgary in May for a stem cell transplant. She will be in hospital for 6 weeks while she recovers and then will need to reside in Calgary for another couple of months before being able to return home. Her husband Nolan will be traveling back and forth to visit her while in hospital (sadly her kids will not be allowed). Once she's out of hospital they will be visiting her and staying in a rental which they will also have to pay for. — they are very much in need of support. Any amount of help is much appreciated and your positive thoughts/messages will be a huge benefit.
