My niece, Kristen and her family lost their home in the Glass Fire in St. Helena, CA last week. 

Kristen was living in Baltimore, MD, but she had always dreamed of moving back to the west coast, where she had lived in the past.  In September, Kristen summoned the will and the courage to make that dream a reality.  She packed up her belongings, and drove herself and her adorable dog Max, across the country to begin this exciting adventure.

Kristen had planned to move to her family's home in St. Helena, CA for a few months while she arranged for her new permanent home.  Within a few weeks of her arrival, Kristen and her family lost their entire home in the Glass Fire that tore through St. Helena.  They were all visiting a friend when the evacuation order came, leaving them no opportunity to go back to the house for any personal possessions, including her car.

While we are so grateful that the family is together and safe, the loss is devastating!  They lost almost everything are are basically starting over.  Any donations to help Kristen and her family recover from this loss are so greatly appreciated!  They have a long road ahead of them, and any assistance you can give will help with expenses not covered by insurance.
