Kristen and John through their cancer journey

Hi my name is Kelsey. Let me introduce you to my cousins.

Kristen and Jonathan are not the type people that ever ask for help.. They are a strong and independent couple of 14 years, and raising a beautiful blended and extended family. They are kind and caring, quiet and private people that would give you the shirt off their backs if they could and will send you home well fed and feeling loved. They’re always going above and beyond for everybody else and never ask for anything in return.. which is why this page is being made FOR them. The last couple years have not been easy for them. With Kristen being diagnosed with cancer and being told it’s totally curable, it gave them a glimpse of hope. Within that year, they got the news that she is now stage four terminal, and given two years left on this earth... In that time, they also got unfortunate news that they had to move from their home that they’ve been in for 10+ years. Given the circumstances, combined with unexpected complications with Kristen‘s health and unexpected surgeries, John has been forced to miss time at work. With the overall stress of having his life partner struggling through this aggressive cancer, the stress of missing work, and now moving expenses, things are likely and understandably chaos. If you know the man that Johnathan is, you’d know that he wants to do it all. He wants to be the rock for his wife as well as for their children. As the provider he is, he continues to do his best at work but wants to be available whenever Kristen needs him. And now, they have to pack up 12 years of memories and move. This page is being made to alleviate some stress, to help with the cost of the moving into a new home, and to help with any additional medical costs. And of course to help give some financial stability so Johnny can be by his wife and children and family to enjoy the good times and the bad.
