Kristen and Even Hicks Auto Repairs

Donation protected
Fantastic News:  As of Thursday June 26 we raised 4800.00 which has covered the cost of car repairs.  Kristen and Evan are now free from the weight of debt.  THANK YOU to everyone who donated and to those who shared the message.  May you also receive the same love and support during your time of need.

Someone I love needs our help.

My friends, Kristen and Evan Hicks, are some of the most giving and caring people I have ever met. Kristen started the Blessing Project in Swannanoa, NC, after Hurricane Helene tore through town.

Kristen works daily to connect people with resources to help them recover. This week, both of their cars broke down. The estimated cost of repairs is approximately $5,000.00. The good news is that there have been two mechanics who offered to do the repairs and are not charging as much as was originally quoted.

Kristen and Evan are very humble people, and it has been my idea to help give back to them because they have given so much of themselves to help their community. The Blessing Project has provided the entire Asheville area with everything from propane, tents, sleeping bags, cars, heaters, air conditioners, fans, food, water, clothing, shoes, household supplies, furniture, trailers, hotel rooms... you name it, they have been the go-to people who have given all their time and energy to make the Blessing Project possible. Their children have also helped and been taught the gift of service.
