Dear Family and Friends,

We would like to get the word out regarding how Krista is doing and ask you for help and prayers from all who are able. Krista has helped so many of us throughout the years and now she could use our help!

To start at the beginning, she contracted Covid very early in January and she is still in the hospital as of today (Feb. 5th). After two different medical consultations regarding her fever and other symptoms, she received medications and an Xray that revealed she had viral double pneumonia. After days of recovery at home, her condition worsened. Two 911 calls later, on Jan. 15th, she was taken to the Hospital for admission, where she was then diagnosed with a rare life threatening condition called, Rhabdomyolysis. She has been undergoing dialysis treatments for kidney injury and is showing improvement. We are asking for everyone’s prayers and are hoping that she gets well enough to leave the hospital soon and will be transferred to an acute care and rehabilitation facility. Complete recovery could take up to two months or more.

We are reaching out and asking for donations to help with all the medical deduction and expenses that may not be fully covered from insurance. Additionally, as you can imagine, there are many other expenses piling up during this time when she is unable to work. We are asking for and would so appreciate any financial assistance. Our hope is to raise between $10k-$15K with this GoFundMe appeal.
