Krissy's A.V.M surgery

Donation protected
Let me tell you a little bit about this brave and amazing girl I know named Krissy Walker whom I have had the extreme honor of calling my best friend for the last 33 years which if you do the math means that we met eachother at age 2 in a neighborhood playgroup. We went to school together starting in preschool, and grew up around each other, we had our kids at about the same time so they're best friends now too. She is an anazing artist and paints and draws the most wonderful pictures that she refuses to sell but instead generously gifts to friends and family. Life has been rough for Krissy she's lived with excruciating pain in her face for most of her life, which up until just the last 8 years or so had been misdiagnosed time and again as everything under the sun. What she actually has is AVM actually multiple AVM'S which is extremely rare.

For those of you that don't know what that is, its artereioveinus malformations they run through her face her lips and her tongue and they cause swelling, tumors, nerve damage, and excruciating pain on a daily basis. She has had several surgeries over the last 8 years and will need several more at least. In spite of all this she still shows up to work every single day and routinely out does herself with her generosity towards her friends and family. She's the first one who will volunteer to take your daughter shopping if she needs new pants and you can't afford it or pay for the movie tickets when we all go out together even though she has barely more to give then I do. She is a wonderful human being she cares so deeply for others and cant stand to see anyone sad or suffering.. She works as a TA and is well loved by her coworkers and kids alike. All the kids in her class love her to death they follow her around constantly (I think mostly because she's the same size as they are) but also because she likes to draw personalized pictures for the kids to color all the time. She is scheduled for yet another surgery in the middle of July that I will be accompanying her to and as a single mother or a 14 year old son she is really struggling financially to come up with the money to buy plane tickets, rent a hotel room, and car and have money for living expenses while we're down in Colorado. Anything that you can give would help no matter how small and you will have both her and my eternal gratitude.
