Krissy & John Lovett

5 Years and 1 month….5 years and 1 month ago, in April 2018, Krissy’s and John’s lives forever changed. Krissy’s adoring husband and John’s loving father had a “catastrophic” stroke that left him with severe disabilities. From surgeries to multiple physical therapy treatments to everyday encouragement, Jim and his supporters fought as hard as they could for him. Jim’s fight was fierce. Krissy’s and John’s hope was immense. Although Jim’s unyielding love for his family never faded (as anyone could tell when he would see them), his body could no longer sustain this fight and he passed away peacefully with Krissy and his family/friends by his side.

5 years and 1 month….for 5 years and 1 month, Krissy has been raising this amazing now 10 year old boy. All the while, she had been hit with notice after notice from insurance companies informing her of services not being covered. Any payments she had been receiving have long ceased. This woman keeps trucking on. She was paying out of pocket countless amounts of times. She is a fighter. She fought to get Jim to a facility close by so that it would be a quick ride for John and her to visit. She doesn’t quit. She won’t quit. Certainly not for John and not for her friends and family. For anyone who knows Krissy, she is a woman who would give you her last $5 and never let you know it was. All while doing it with those baby blue eyes and a smile.

Being a young family, Jim didn’t necessarily think he would need life insurance at a young age. That, on top of all the other expenses incurred both past and present have been immense. Although we cannot take their heartbreak away, we would like to be able to provide some financial relief. And finally, 5 years and 1 month….for 5 years and 1 month, Jim has told Krissy he wants to go home. Although Jim could never make it to his physical house, he is now at peace and finally “home”.
