Kris Kicks Kancer's Keister

Donation protected

Kancer Keister Kickers - Words cannot express the gratitude we feel to each and every one of our donors who have made it possible to reach our 35k goal to support Kris Girrell in Kicking Kancer's Keister.  We still have 6 days before Kris leaves for Colorado (April 22). Our goal covers only the base cost of the program. Let's LEAN IN for an additional 10k-the true cost to the family (including travel, medications and other very expensive, inevitable cancer treatment costs) so Kris can spend his time as a warrior and not a worrier.

Why help Kris?

Anyone blessed to have Kris in their lives has undoubtedly felt his generosity.  Bart and I have experienced Kris as  “Big Brother,” a                   confidant, a shoulder to cry on, a safe place to land, a coach and mentor, the best man at our wedding and that person that simply always   has your back… no matter what.

Not only is he an incredible friend, husband, father and grandfather – but Kris’s contributions to the world are far too numerous to mention. Just a few include:

• Serving in homeless shelters/various food pantries

• Opening his heart to people who live on the street.

• Coaching men in their journey to self-betterment as part of a long history of local, regional, and national “men’s work”

• Co-founding & managing Operation ELF, a holiday gifting charity that has fulfilled the wishes of more than 25,000 New England-based needy children for 21 years,

• Dedicating his time to service in the life-changing work of Transformation (helping others to create and live purposeful lives).as a coach, trainer and resource developer for the Boston Breakthrough Academy (BBA)    Kris would never ask, and that is why we are asking. After a lifetime of giving, let’s give him this gift…together

THE APPROACH AND THE PROGRAM

Kris has recently had a third recurrence of prostate cancer and just this month had his prostate removed. However, what is known about cancer is that simply removing the cancerous tissue is not sufficient since it is the body’s metabolic system that initially produced the cancer, The traditional western medical approach has been to treat the body with chemicals and hormone therapy to create a toxic environment for cancer cells. Science has also shown that a complementary medical approach in altering the body’s metabolism through natural resources can improve upon these results in preventing cancer regrowth through an intense regimen of oxygenation, vitamins and other natural methods.
