We are writing this on behalf of the family of our dearest friend Krish Centeno Kakuturi, who passed away on October 30, 2023 after a courageous battle with ALS. Krish was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She is survived by her husband Vara, son Kevin (8), and daughter Raina (3).
Krish was very witty and funny and loved by all who knew her. She had a passion for learning, traveling, and helping others.
In 2020, Krish was diagnosed with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. ALS causes muscle weakness, paralysis, and eventually respiratory failure. There is no cure for ALS and the average life expectancy is 2 to 5 years after diagnosis.
Krish fought bravely against this disease for three years. She never gave up hope and always tried to stay positive. She also participated in several clinical trials and research studies to help find a cure for ALS.
Unfortunately, Krish’s condition worsened over time and she passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Krish’s family is devastated by her loss and they need our help.
We are coming together as her friends and community to support her family during this time of loss. We aim for $5,000 as a goal but any help is greatly appreciated towards this cause.
The goal is to help for future childcare expenses and education on top of the funeral costs and pending medical expenses.
Please consider donating to this GoFundMe campaign to support Krish’s family in this difficult time. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference. You can also help by sharing this page with your friends and family.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Let’s honor Krish’s memory by helping her family and s preading awareness about ALS.
