Kris Costello Burton Cancer Fund

A great friend, teacher, sister, daughter, wife and now mother. At 9 months pregnant with her first baby girl, Kris at 32 years old discovered a lump in her breast. Weeks before her due date she thought maybe it was just a coincendence.

Meanwhile beautiful and healthy baby Amadea decided to arrived  3 weeks early. This was it... a long and rough nine months and baby was finally here. All of the sleepless nights and long days... It was all worth it.

Sadly, the day after Kris and Rich welcomed Amadea into the world she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The best day of her life followed by one of the most heartbreaking. She had to stop breast feeding immediately and begin to meet with doctors about her prognosis.

Kris is is currently receiving chemo treatments to shrink the cancer and will most likely have to have both breasts removed. She is one tough cookie though and she will beat it.
