Kris Sams Kellough - Support the Kellough Family

My brother, Aaron Kellough, and his wife Kris Sams Kellough are facing many challenges as Kris has become reliant on a wheelchair/scooter to move around, and stairs can only be accessed by a lift. Kris was diagnosed with ALS on December 22, 2022. She is now at home full-time on disability as she and her family focus on the most positive of energies, make her the grossest of smoothies, juice endless stalks of celery, and fully support her in her determination to take back her health!

The Kellough house only has a powder room on the main floor, and no shower, so her kids (11 and 15) and husband (with sensitive smelling) requested a chair lift to get her up and down the stairs, so she can shower/bathe again! While Kris focuses her energy and faith on her determination to heal, her journey now requires numerous modifications to their house including bathroom and ADA shower, stairs access (chairlift), handrails throughout, and entry ramps. Additionally, doors need to be widened for her wheelchair access, and the house needs a new electrical panel to accommodate the additional machinery and the ability to do laundry upstairs. She will also need a wheelchair accessible van to leave the house to attend her medical, PT and chiropractor appointments, as well as kids bowling, volleyball and basketball games! This means an estimated $45,000 total for the installation of a chairlift, a remodel of the upstairs bathroom for a wheelchair-accessible shower system with vanity and potty, access to the main floor bathroom, entryways widened, ramps installed, van purchase, house upgrades and, of course, medical bills.
