Many of you may know me, but for those who do not, my name is Amanda. Kris has been like a mother to me since I was about 10 years old. She has always been there for me through the hard times and the good times. Now, I'm asking for friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances' generosity and help. After a recent surgery, pathology came back that Kris has multifocal follicular variant papillary thyroid carcinoma. In layman's terms, cancer. She's going to need a secondary surgery and radioactive iodine therapy. We all know that medical bills can often pile up quickly, not to mention the time off work she will need and travel expenses. Being a local small business owner, her business and livelihood depend on her ability to work.
