Kris Kramer Medical Expenses

This fundraiser is for the sake of our beloved cousin, Kristen Kramer. Here is her story:
Kris married her high school sweetheart, Bryant Kramer on March 30, 1996. They have two (2) children, Mikayla age 18 and Brayden age 14, and a sweet Dachshund, Reese Cup and live in Fort Wayne, IN.
In early 2019, Kris began to experience shoulder, neck and upper torso pain. On March 29, 2019, they learned it was cancer. March 30, 2019, was Kris & Bryant's 23rd anniversary and her 49th birthday.
Kris’s family soon transported her to the home of her mother, Sharon Haines, in Michigan so Kris could be treated at UM Hospital in Ann Arbor. By late June, Kris had multiple radiation treatments and was fighting with all she had. During that time, her bones became so brittle that a simple transfer from her hospital bed to a gurney resulted in her hip breaking and yet another trip back to the hospital.
On July 8, 2019, Kris was moved from UM back to her mother's home to begin hospice care. She was lovingly cared for by Bryant, her mother, children and loved ones.
On July 15, 2019, Kris lost her battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the love of close family members. We will all grieve this loss for as long as we have breath in our lungs. Kris was a staple in our family and we will not be the same without her. Her humor, laugh, and beautiful spirit will always be in our hearts.
While Bryant is doing his best to care for Mikayla and Brayden as a now single parent, the weight on his shoulders is tremendous. Along with losing the one and only love of his life, and mother of his beautiful children, he is also dealing with the weight of outstanding medical and funeral expenses.
As the family of Kris Kramer, we set up this GoFundMe page as a platform to ask for help in relieving the financial stress thrust upon the life of the man our beloved Kris wholeheartedly loved until her last breath. This financial stress is not the result of their poor financial planning. Kris & Bryant worked hard, focused on their children’s happiness, and did their best to provide for their family.
Then tragedy struck and their lives forever changed. On top of being left with unspeakable grief, Bryant has absorbed healthcare and burial expenses that are not covered by insurance. These past few months have already accumulated over $20,000, and we know there is more to come.
Any donations to help our family continue caring for the best interest of Kris Kramer's immediate family will be appreciated.
