Dear Friends and Family,
Our hearts are heavy as we share the devastating loss of Kris Kaitanjian, a remarkable husband, father, and friend. Kris tragically passed away from a sudden brain aneurysm while vacationing with his wife, Sada, in Hawaii. At just 48 years old, Kris was taken far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication and two young adult girls, Laila and Maddie.
Kris had a way of lighting up every room with his warm smile and infectious laughter. He poured his heart into supporting his family, creating cherished memories, and building a life filled with love and generosity. His sudden passing has left Sada and their two daughters, Laila and Maddie, navigating an unimaginable loss.
As many of you know, the Kaitanjian family has faced significant challenges this year. Their youngest daughter, Maddie, was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, adding the burden of managing a chronic illness and medical expenses. Now, on top of those challenges, they are grieving the loss of their main source of support and love. Maddie is a sophomore in college and Laila is a young adult, working on a new career path after graduating from college last year.
This fundraiser is an opportunity to come together and help ease the financial strain on Sada as she focuses on healing and supporting her daughters. Every contribution will directly assist with immediate needs and ensure Laila and Maddie have the resources to pursue their futures despite this heartbreaking very sudden loss.
If a donation isn’t possible, your support by sharing this campaign or offering words of encouragement would mean the world. Instead of sending flowers (at his memorial services in CA or ID), we kindly ask that you consider honoring Kris’s memory by contributing to this fund, which will directly impact the lives of his girls he loved so deeply.
Kris was a man who gave so much of himself to others; now, we have the chance to give back in his memory. Thank you for helping to uphold his legacy and provide hope and stability to Sada and her girls during this incredibly difficult time. They have a long road ahead without their father and husband of over 22 years.
Kris selflessly donated his kidneys and liver plus other organs through Legacy of Life Hawaii. If you'd like to learn a bit about organ donation and the 3 amazing lives Kris saved with his organs, you can take a look at Legacy of Life Hawaii and find out more. Legacy of Life Hawaii
