Kris Hutto Memorial Fund- Support for his Daughter, Irie
On November 10, 2020, the world tragically and suddenly lost Kris Hutto to a car accident in Las Vegas, NV. Kris, a Marine veteran, would have found the irony in his last breath coinciding with the U.S.M.C. birthday.
Additionally, Kris was a golfer, baseball player, hockey player, welder, craftsman, friend, brother, son, and most important of all the father to his daughter, 5 year old Irie.
Kris was resilient and made the best of it during tough times, always powered through with a smile like the sun and a laughter that will never leave us. He had recently taken over management of the family business, moved into a new apartment, and bought a truck. Kris spent his last few weeks spending time with his daughter and family in love and joy. He was loved, among his friends, across many age groups and all walks of life.
We’re heartbroken, and Kris will be profoundly missed. His family has solace in knowing Kris left this earth swiftly and did not go in pain.
As we are further saddened that we cannot currently gather to celebrate Kris, please consider donating to his daughter and the future she will have to make for herself without the direct strength, support and guidance of her father. Details for a memorial service will follow once deemed safe, but who knows when that will be.
The money raised through this page will all be transfered to a custodial children's account, in Irie's name, that she alone will access after she reaches adulthood. Any father would want to leave a nest egg for their child but Kris was taken from Irie and us too soon and too suddenly. While this year has been tough on everyone any amount you can spare will help Irie shape her own future.
