Kris's Heart Surgery

I'm helping Kris raise money for his heart surgery...

Kris was born with a heart defect called Aortic Stenosis w/ Regurgitation.

He has been under a cardiologists care since it was found at the age of 5.

It has progressed to the point that he now needs an Aortic Valve Replacement.

He has insurance that will cover a considerable portion of it but he does

have the deductible to cover as well as the percentage he's responsible

for. He will also be out of work for a couple of weeks. He is an independent

contractor for a pool company so there is no "sick leave" or "sick pay".

I am hoping to raise enough to cover these expenses so he can concentrate

on the surgery and the recovery instead of being stressed about the financial

end of things.

Kris is a hard worker and never takes any time off from work. He spends

his weekends with his 3 1/2 year old son but when not with him, he's usually

having fun with friends or out at the beach surfing (which he loves).

Kris works by himself and does have the fear of sudden cardiac arrest but

he tries to not dwell on that but it is a concern. Having this surgery will take

care of that fear and help him lead a more normal and energetic life.

Please help me in this endeavor to help him. He's 43 years old and I'd like

to see him live a long and healthy life.
