Kris' fund for Befriend a Child
Hello! I’m raising money for Befriend a Child because I’d like to make a difference in my local community.
I have set out three things I would like to do to raise money.
1. Cycle from Aberdeen to Dundee.
2. Walk from Dundee to Aberdeen.
3. Shave my dread head!
Please help me by donating what you can. I would love to raise £1000 in total between the 3 activities.
Who are Befriend a Child?
Befriend a Child are an Aberdeen based charity that support young people growing up in difficult circumstances.
Young people are matched with volunteers who spend one-on-one time to help take their minds off of the difficulties of their home life.
Why am I fundraising?
My partner and I have been volunteering for the service since 2019 and have had the pleasure of supporting through befriending.
By fundraising I hope to raise both money and awareness for the service.
I hope to encourage other likeminded adults to get in touch with Befriend a Child to find out more about the service. You can help shape your community!
