Dear all, it is with heavy hearts we setup this go fund me page as we are morning the passing of Kris, our Son, Unkle Nephew, Brother, Cousin and dear friend. Kris passed away on The 3rd of March in Amsterdam. He loved this city and the people that were part of his world here. Kris moved from Aberdeen and set up life in Amsterdam as an expat and quickly became part of the the local communities too. However, this has meant that with his sudden passing we must find a way to get him back to Scotland to be reunited with his devastated parents and the rest of our family.

We have been informed that to get Kris home will cost a minimum of 10,000. Unfortunately we are not able to cover all of these costs ourselves and of course they are mounting up daily. We are reaching out to not just the Amsterdam community, but those in Aberdeen and the world, to all our friends and neighbours to please help in any way you are able to. We understand times are hard as it is, but even a small donation is so greatly appreciated and will mean that we can book a flight that will take him home to Aberdeen. We are under time pressure obviously and so this is why we decided to create this page.

There will be a memorial here in Amsterdam for those who wish to pay their respects and say their goodbyes to Kris. The details of this will appear here as soon as we have it confirmed and will be sent to as many folks as possible. We would appreciate you passing on the time and day of the memorial to anyone who may not have got this information.

Although Amsterdam is a jam packed city of people, those that live here will know that there is a very close knit community throughout as well. Kris was very much part of that community and his passing has broken the hearts of all that love him so much.

He leaves behind Mario his partner of 6 years and Jackson their wee dog. Their world has changed forever, and the reality that Kris is no longer with any of us is harrowing. We want to help as much as we can to ease the despair and pain caused by the sudden passing of one of the fiercest bitches to ever to perfect the Brittney roll. Kris was the kindest, most thoughtful and loving person you would ever have the good fortune to meet. He felt the pain of others and would do anything for you. He was a talented hairdresser and could rock a weave like nobody else. Kris made people laugh and his family meant the world to him. We are all going to miss him so very much.
