Kris's Football Journey

Hi I’m Kris Saviola Smith and I am a Bermudian footballer, and I am living proof that dreams can be made your REALITY!  Football is what I was born into, having a grandfather who represented BDA abroad, father, uncles and aunt as Dandy town players, it also became a passion and given talent of my own and where I saw my future. And now fast forward at the age of 16, I am currently training in one of the top academies in Spain! I AM LIVING MY DREAM! I am forever thankful that my mother and immediate family have enabled this dream to start, by securing/contributing the first three months tuition, as investing in my dreams does come with a cost. And this is where I need you, I need your help and support to keep this dream alive. Here is how you can help, this GoFundMe page was established to ask for your support on my continued journey. It cost £1600 a month to continue my training and aid my endeavours at Alicante Football Academy. All donations are based on your discretion and I gratefully will appreciate any financial assistance given. I know only I’m ultimately responsible for creating my reality, but I have recognised that at times outside support is needed. This support comes via financial, positive energy, encouragement or advice. And just so you can understand where your contributions will be going towards, here is what my program looks like:This training is a 6 month intense program, having 5+ hours of training a day, a nutritionist to maintain the diet of an athlete, a physiotherapist to ensure my body is at its best form, and a personal development coach. In between training, I play games against ex professionals with my teammates. Work out at the gym and swim on my free days for body recovery. And most importantly rest on the weekends.I am a black, Bermudian young male, representing my country, and living out my dreams. I hope to inspire others and most of all show a proud representation of our Island.
