KREYOL MAGAZINE is an up and coming, leading lifestyle publication covering the finest, in the worlds of fashion, beauty, family, culture, and politics, . As well as focusing on the promotion of Black business.
Kreyol magazine's vision is to help the Kreyol community with intelligent, in-depth writing, mindful original curated fashion and lifestyle content that is, accessible, sophisticated, elegant, and provocative, that is geared towards empowering, unleashing, and glorifying the many aspects of African/Kreyol heritage.
How your funding will help
The year 2020 has been one of the most challenging years we as a nation have ever had to endure. The COVID-19 pandemic has left many small businesses crippled financially. We here at KREYOL Magazine are 100% committed to our community and the many businesses that make our city shine. Seeing our community come together to help support the livelihood of these families has been a beautiful thing. So much so, that we want to help our community in any way possible.
What we are asking today is to get help publishing our next issue of The KREYOL Magazine.
Right now, we're fundraising for two reasons:
1. We want to pay a graphic designer and other professional help needed to design our first issue, maintaining the website, and production for the first year.
2. We want to pay our contributors for their work.
Imagine a space that brought together the best of black culture and aesthetics, combined with the reporting on the healthiest local food around. Imagine a space that brought Black Healing and Joy to life. Welcome to KREYOL Magazine.
When you donate to this fundraiser, you will be investing in the work of Black creatives in Canada, America, and abroad whose voices deserve to be heard. You are helping launch a magazine that aims to become a political and artistic force for good. You are aiding in the creation of a platform for Black creatives in the beginning stages of their careers.
We want to help the local business community and to provide a voice for them to celebrate what they're doing.
Your assistance will contribute to the ongoing employment of our journalists and team and expand by offering more positions in these areas.

We are looking to make KREYOL Magazine a self-sustaining professional quality magazine publication for all Kreyol/African people across North America and abroad. This GoFundme funding will help us to hire the professional help needed for print and web editing, marketing, and print publication.
We plan to launch our site and first print issue in the Fall/Winter of 2020-2021. The funds raised will be allocated to paying contributors, maintaining the website, and production for the first year.
Proceeds from subscription sales will be re-invested to sustain the magazine's reach and continue to grow it.
