Hello, friends and family.
As many of you know by now, we lost our dear Teresa “TK” Kress, who left this world for the next on Tuesday, April 20th, a mere five days after celebrating her 51st birthday.
Teresa has been the primary caregiver for her husband Michael Kress, who is suffering from brain cancer, thus the devastation of her loss is compounded by the fact that Mike still needs round the clock help.
Friends and family have stepped in over the last couple of days, but as we sort this out, the ideal situation includes allowing Teresa’s daughter and fellow nurse, Ashley, the time and money to take off work and help Mike’s son, Eli, with his care. Eli left his job in California and flew home to Michigan immediately, to be with his dad.
With all this being said, we’re starting a new Go-Fund Me campaign to help Ashley and Eli support themselves and allow them to be able to stay with Mike in the house that he and Teresa called home for 20 years.
Both Teresa and Mike are well known, well-loved and deeply respected for all they’ve given to their communities over the years. They’ve literally saved countless lives in their careers as nurses, and touched many more with their music. Kindness, goodness and generosity are defining characteristics shared by this beautiful couple. What we’re asking for now is some reciprocity for these two beautiful souls who gave so much, to so many.
Help us finish what Teresa started. Help us help their children care for Mike, in his time of need.
