Our family recently received the heartbreaking news that my sister has been diagnosed with a rare form of osteosarcoma cancer. It was completely unexpected, and she has already begun the difficult journey of treatments and appointments in San Francisco.

My mom has been by her side every step of the way, taking her to each appointment and helping her through the hardest days. Unfortunately, some of her medications and travel costs aren’t fully covered by insurance, and the expenses are starting to add up. She also has to be hospitalized for every chemo treatment.
