Thor, and adorable 4yr old Hackney. Hes a real gentleman who loves his cuddles. He needs surgery or he will have to be put down.

Thor, arrived with us underweight and covered in scrapes and sores.

We started feeding him up and treating him. Unfortunately his hind leg became infected and we

consulted the vet.

A course of antibiotics began.

This helped but the infection

returned shortly after he finished

treatment. New antibiotics were

administered and we began

considering an x ray.

Thankfully we x-rayed revealing he

has broken his splint bone leaving

him with 3 fragments.

A loss of blood supply to these is causing the infection and they need to be removed.

His treatment is going to be expensive. While we have the time to dedicate to his recovery we are struggling with the funds.
