Ever since she was very young, Kara's parents have been very strict and controlling, constantly monitoring her through Life 360, and offering her no privacy. She isn't even allowed to go on google on her phone because everything is blocked except messenger and photos.

Things have gotten even worse lately when they found out she is trans. They tracked her location through Life360 because she was out late (on prom night) and came to the restaurant we were eating at and saw her in her dress (pictured above). Ever since then, they make passive aggressive and mocking comments about her being trans and anything remotely un-masculine she does, even if she did it before being outted, is now an issue. They have completely taken away her freedom of choice about what she wears and how she does her hair, and if she gets caught doing anything that relieves her dysphoria, she risks getting in trouble.

Kara turns 18 this September, and she would like to be able to move out ASAP because of her toxic living conditions, but there are a lot of things she doesn't really have the money for. Because of this, I've started this fundraiser for her (with her permission). By donating to this GoFundMe, you would be helping Kara to pay for things like:

• Deposit and rent on an apartment
• Car and Health insurance
• Bills and groceries

Kara is still a senior in high school, she doesn't have the time for both a full-time job and school, so every dollar means a lot to us. Even a share would be amazing. Kara is a very sweet girl and she could use all the help she can get. We'd love to see her as happy as she was in her prom dress all the time.
