In Loving Memory of Melchisedeck “Mel” Fontilus

Melchisedeck “Mel” Fontilus was tragically taken away from his friends and family on October 12, 2020. It came as a shock to all his friends and family. It has been something that most are still unable to process. Mel was full of life and had his entire life ahead of him. He was the type of person that would walk in and immediately light up a room. He was the most kind hearted person and the kind of person you could count on whether it was family or a friend. Mel was a loving son, brother, friend, and co worker. He will be truly missed by many people who loved him and never, ever forgotten. 

I, along with my fellow air traffic controllers at Miami Executive Airport (TMB) are organizing this fundraiser to help Mel’s family with Memorial, funeral expenses, and any other unforeseen expenses they may have. Everything Will go directly to Mel’s family. It is the least that can be done despite these devastating circumstances. Whatever can be donated big or small will be a great help to Mel’s family.
