As you all may already know, my son Jose Jr is very sick because he is in liver failure. He is currently in the ICU at Stanford hospital in Palo Alto. He was recently started on dialysis and will be until he received a donor and according to his doctors he will soon be pushed to the top of the waiting list for this hospital. So God willing, he will soon be going into surgery to receive the transplant that he is desperately in need of. I am going to be by my sons side through the whole process so I plan on taking a 3to4 months period off from work as the doctors and transplant team are asking of me and possibly possibly temporary relocation to Palo Alto. The social workers will be giving me a room on the hospitals campus for weekly rate. But because i will not be working i will be short on finances so your donation will be put towards all the daily expenses that tend to quickly add up. That would include gas, bridge tolls food not only for myself but for my daughters who will be staying home and also traveling back and forth from our home in Oakland for the time that I will be staying at the hospital. Anything will help just to get by while I am by my sons side through his complete recovery which will be approximately 3 months the transplant team has told me and it is mandatory that he has 24 hour care for those 3 months I thank you in advance for any donation, it is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
