Have a heart ❤️

Last October Maria was hospitalized and ultimately diagnosed with Advanced Congestive Heart Failure (EF under 20%) and Cardiomyopathy. Her heart was enlarged & she had a regurgitating mitral valve.

Since then she has had 3 minor surgeries, several diagnostic procedures & countless doctor/specialist appointments. Her condition improved for a little while, but began declining again in April, and she has not been able to work since June.

The cardiomyopathy can be treated with medicine & a defibrillator implant, but the CHF will require a heart transplant. Throughout everything, Maria has kept a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She is one of the kindest people I know & would do anything for a friend or a stranger if they needed help. Now its our turn to show her the same compassion & generosity.
