For the love of Nick
My name is Zack Reid and I’m asking for your help for my son. Nick is 12 years old and has been diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma, a rare form of liver cancer. Currently his mother Melissa Reid and I are in the PICU in Greenville, SC and waiting to be transferred to a specialist in Charleston or Memphis. We are asking for prayers and any donations that you can help with. Right now we are unable to work for the round the clock time at the hospital and expenses are adding up quickly. We will need funds for his medical needs but immediately we need help with hotel rooms, food, gas, and a rental car. I’m asking for this so that We can be here for our son and help him fight this battle. Asking for help is hard but what Nick is facing is so much harder. As a parent this is the most afraid I’ve ever been and more than anything we just need him to be okay!
Please see the post from our friends at ANDERSON TECHNICAL RESCUE TEAM
No child should ever feel alone
No child should ever be scared alone
No child should ever have to fight alone
This is Nick Reid. A good friend of the team, and this young man is facing a giant. We are not going to let him fight alone. We would like for everyone to say a prayer for this young man and his family. We will have more information in the coming weeks. His dad served as a firefighter and member of the Anderson County technical dive rescue team since 2003. Stand with us and let this young man know he will not fight alone.
Thank you in advance for your love, prayers, and support!
The Reid family
