On January 6th while off duty, Jason fell from a 16 foot ladder. After driving himself to the ER, Jason and  his' family found out that he had broken both elbows, broke his' left wrist, broke his' right ankle, and hyperextended his' left grand toe. 

After surgery on Jason's ankle and toe he spent 7 days in the hospital and then another 10 days at an inpatient rehabilitation facility. 

With family in town, Jason's 2 year old daughter has been able to have a simI-normal life for the past two and a half weeks by continuing her weekly activities and preschool schedule.  Jason's wife took off from her part time job at a local church to be with Jason through his' healing process.

Jason is a fireman for Forney Fire Department and is expected to make a full recovery with the help of outpatient rehab and many prayers within 4 months.
