Facing Eviction

Hi Friends,

I'm an autistic woman from NYC currently facing imminent eviction and homelessness. After having to flee a DV situation and losing my job unexpectedly as a result, I fell into a deep financial spiral which culminated in this housing crisis.

I'm actively in eviction court and was given a stipulation agreement by the judge that allows me 3 months to stay on track with my rent or I will be evicted. I've urgently searched for employment for several months and have finally landed a stable position. However, it does not begin until mid-September.

I'm raising money to ensure I can pay the next 3 months of rent, avoid eviction, and cover my basic needs while I wait to begin my new position, after which my income will cover my rent and expenses.

My general survival and basic needs include food, bills, toiletries, and cat food. I am extremely fortunate to have found a job to get back on my feet, and I just need a hand to get to the next step.
