We recently found out that our loving but sometimes stubborn mother, Pat Whelan, has terminal cancer. 

She puts on a brave face to not overburden us with costs. We are stubborn, too, and we want her to enjoy what she can while she is here with us. 

The past few years have been particularly hard for my family. We lost family members from COVID and Cancer. Recently, my mom discovered that she had terminal cancer and only had a short time with us. 

We wanted to start a fund to help our mom live her life fully before she can not anymore.  We are asking for help to relieve some of the cost of expenses. Hospice does not cover some of her costs, and that is why we are asking you for help.

My mom has just started hospice care and requires 24-hour care. She has become increasingly weak as cancer has spread into her internal organs. She has ministrokes almost daily and a hole in her heart that spreads toxic enzymes throughout her blood. 

My mom is a true one-of-a-kind soul. You'll never meet anyone as spirited as her. We want her to stay spirited. We desperately need your help.
 
Financial assistance is needed immediately! The funds will help provide the care for my mom's needs and help cover her "final expenses."
