Gareth Atkinson

As many people know Gareth Atkinson sadly passed away 23/06/2025.

Gareth was not ill, had no symptoms or known medical issues. It was a sudden and unexpected death which has left his family in absolute shock and heart break.

He was found not breathing in his own home and in his own bed by his own mum, dad and brother. After attempts at CPR by his family and family friend, he was taken to hospital where it was explained he suffered from a category 5 brain aneurysm. Category 5 is the worst kind of brain bleed and there is no way to survive it. After being revived by the hospital a scan of Gareth’s brain unfortunately showed no brain activity and surrounded by his family he passed away at hospital peacefully.

His mum, dad and brother are being supported by friends and family but it will never take the pain away from the trauma they have witnessed and been through.

Everyone who knew Gareth and knows his family know he was the most gentlest person, who loved to travel and spend time with his family.

With permission from his family I have set up this GoFundMe to help relieve financial stress and pressure of funeral arrangements. All proceedings donated will go to his family to contribute and help his grieving family give him the send off he deserves.
