Help Support Felix Szepanski’s Recovery After Devastating Motorcycle Accident

On July 23rd, 2025, Felix Szepanski was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. While riding, his front wheel hit sand or gravel, causing him to lose control and crash into a ditch. Tragically, Felix was thrown from his bike and landed against a telephone pole, suffering multiple severe injuries. He was sent to Hartford Hospital.

Felix sustained multiple fractures in his pelvis, femur, and tibia, leaving him completely unable to move his right leg. He is currently dealing with intense pain and some numbness in his lower body. A small blood clot was also discovered and is being treated.

Felix showed signs of improvement and was moved out of the ICU. But on Friday night, he took a serious turn and was rushed back. His heart rate and blood pressure spiked, his oxygen levels dropped, and he developed a high fever. A CT scan revealed a severe infection in his leg, requiring emergency surgery and the insertion of a drain to help remove the infected fluid. On top of all this, he’s also battling an allergic reaction doctors are still trying to identify.

This entire situation has been heartbreaking—not just because of the physical trauma Felix is facing, but also the financial burden. He does not have health insurance, and as someone who runs his own business, he now has no source of income. He’ll need extensive physical and occupational therapy and will be out of work for months, unable to support himself.
