Hi, my name is Alex and I need to fundraise £5000 to fund a once in a lifetime adventure to Costa Rica with Camps International in 2026.

Camps International are an overseas school expeditions provider that provide travel experiences for students to connect them to the real world and real people.

Whilst on my expedition I'll be joining a global movement of passionate travellers helping to tackle some of the world’s most critical global issues and protect the future of our planet for future generations.

During my expedition I will be supporting local communities with projects including access to clean drinking water, building and maintaining infrastructure, wildlife conservation, marine conservation and I will also have the opportunity to complete a scuba diving qualification.

During the last few years, ill health has meant that I have missed a significant amount of my education and lost out on many experiences. This trip is very important to me so that I can make new memories, gain friendships and prove that I am capable of so much more. I think that it will be amazing to broaden my perspective of the world and give me new confidence and skills to take forward into adulthood.
