KPMG Sponsor a Family-MetLife Team

As the holiday season comes upon us, the KPMG New York Office is supporting the “Sponsor a Family” initiative through Friends of Karen, a nonprofit organization that offers emotional, financial, and advocacy support to children with a life-threatening illness and their families.
The MetLife Team of Choice Committee would like to take this opportunity to make an impact during this holiday season. As a collective account, we would like to challenge our team to sponsor 10 families for Thanksgiving. Each team or individual will sponsor a family by donating food items on the grocery list and a $50 gift card for each family to purchase a turkey and fresh vegetables and fruit (approximately $100/box).
Although this is a fundraiser aimed at the New York Office, we would like to take this opportunity to bring together our account across multiple geographies to donate this Thanksgiving. Due to the geographical diversity of the MetLife team, the Team of Choice Committee will be taking monetary donations through Go Fund Me to purchase the goods and gift cards for the boxes. A local team will then pack the boxes for donation on November 9th.
