The Belize Fitness 5K Cancer Run taking place in San Pedro Ambergris Caye on July 1st is a celebration of life, and of life after cancer, for all cancer survivors as well as honoring the lives of those we have lost along the way.
During this life-changing battle, patients can often get overly consumed combating medicinal side effects, managing treatments and recuperating from surgeries, that it can be hard to remember how to survive once it’s all over. This run celebrates their courage, and their battle.
We all know that the treatments and tests needed to fight cancer can all add up pretty quickly therefor proceeds generated from this run via registration, sponsors and donors, will directly benefit The San Pedro Cancer Society. Whose primary mission is to provide support to diagnosed patients on the island as well as to educate the community on cancer and treatments.
We invite our friends from around the world to contribute towards this cause.
