Help Richard Heal and Keep Our Family Afloat ❤️
Hi, my name is Carrie, and I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my partner, Richard Dickey. If you know Richard, you know he’s one of the hardest working guys around. He’s been in the construction trade for years, the kind of person who will work from sunup to sundown, then still help a neighbor fix their fence or lend a tool without hesitation.
A few days ago, our world turned upside down. Richard had an accident that left him with a fractured knee, and a torn MCL. He’s currently in the hospital at Advent Ocala and having to undergo surgery. His doctors have told us that recovery is going to be long — and tough. Physical therapy, follow-up appointments, and a long stretch off his feet meaning he’ll be out of work for quite a while.
Richard is our family’s primary provider, and we depend on his income to keep things running for our son, Jayce (12), and me. Between hospital bills, household expenses, and the cost of everyday life, things are already feeling overwhelming.not to mention the day he went into the hospital his boss fired him.
We’re doing our best to stay positive and focus on his healing, but the truth is — we could use some help. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us cover:
• Medical bills and physical therapy
• Rent, groceries, and utilities while Richard is unable to work
• The basic needs of keeping life steady for Jayce as we get through this
If you can donate, share, or even just send a kind word, please know that it means the world to us. Richard has always been the first one to step up when someone needed a hand — now it’s our turn to lean on the kindness of others.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, love, and prayers. We’re so grateful to everyone who’s reached out, checked in, and reminded us that we’re not alone in this.
We know that God is in control, and ask for continued prayers we serve a wonderful God and I know he has a purpose for all of this.
With love and thanks,
Carrie, Richard & Jayce
