What's missing from this picture?
You know us. And you know that we've devoted our lives to children. Peter's spent the past 20 years teaching children. Consider this his final project: to become a parent.
Kristin's spent the same amount of time working for children. When she was a preschool teacher in Taiwan, we almost took one home with us....

Just kidding. But we did enjoy our time writing and recording stories for Rainbow Time. The above photo was on a billboard in the middle of Taichung. It was a pretty big deal.
Look at us. We're ridiculous. We've literally had a storybook romance. A shared love of children and children's books (Phantom Tollbooth, Wrinkle in Time, Monkey With a Tool Belt) has been at the heart of our relationship since our very first month of dating.

And in the past decade together we've gone on adventure after adventure: We moved half way across the globe to live in Taiwan for 2 years, we visited Japan, the Phillipines, the Great Wall of China, the Kuala Lumpur bird park.
And now we're ready for Our Next Adventure: DUN DUN DUH! ...... Parenthood.
Just one problem: conventional means won't work so our only option left is In-Vitro Fertilization.
Kristin has been battling Multiple Sclerosis for almost 20 years now. Unfortunately, the medicine she's been taking is no longer working. And it's the only one she can get pregnant on. So her doctors have given her 6 months to get pregnant.
So, In Vitro fertilization is our only option.
And it's REALLY expensive.
And not covered by any healthcare in the U.S. (at least not in our state)
So we need your help. We've raised some of the money on our own, cashing in savings accounts and nest eggs. Nothing means more to us than children. As you know, we've both dedicated our lives to working with and for children. Now we'd like one our own to play with.
Most people have a Baby Shower.
We're having more of a "pre-rinse" . Please consider donating to our cause , in whatever amount you are able, in lieu of any baby gifts. And we promise to keep you updated on Our Next Adventure.
Because, don't you wanna see these two weirdos with a baby? And apparently, we don't usually do things the easy and conventional way.
