Every 98 seconds an American is sexually assaulted and every 11 minutes that person is a child. Every 9 seconds a woman is a victim of domestic violence.
Currently, our shelter and outreach buildings for victims in the Mississippi Delta area do not have a working air conditioner/heating units. We can not provide shelter services to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault without this needed equipment.
