My cat Ronin has been sick for over a week now. we’ve been in and out of the vet since Wednesday 2/07. he has some sort of illness, which is causing a lot of inflammation in his intestines. he’s been on fluids off and on, hoping it helps him stay hydrated. the ultrasound revealed severe gastrointestinal inflammation. thankfully, so far, there doesn’t seem to be any need for surgery.

friends have generously offered to help chip in; and the support, both financial and emotional, has been tremendous. all in all, so far, expenses are around $7000, with the vet visits, two overnights in the ER, diagnostics, medications, etc.

i genuinely appreciate anything that anyone can contribute, as it will go a long way to help alleviate the cost stress.
