Itzel’s Funeral Expenses

My name is Itzel Aguirre Peña, sometimes I go by Itzelskii, Itzela, or Chets (given by my uncle.)
Here’s my story:
To sum up the first portion, a lot of you were here on my first rodeo when I was first diagnosed with Osteo-Sarcoma. I was 21 years old and pregnant with my now 2 year old baby boy, Eliam. It was hard, having to go through chemo, losing my hair, and having my right arm and shoulder amputated. But I got through it. That pretty much sums up the first half.
I am now 24 years old. I will be turning 25 this November 12… two days after my Eliams 3rd birthday. I spent the last two years appreciating what I have and cherishing my last days with my family. So I decided to keep my situation private and only between family. The cancer had came back on my spine and chest (lungs) which stopped me from being mobile. The cancer was aggressive but so was I, my body was able to fight for as long as it could. I was strong. I went through chemo, radiation, and immune therapy, all I knew was to fight. I loved my family, I loved my Eliam, ESPECIALLY my Eliam. Though my time came eventually. I am no longer in pain, I am gone physically, but I am with peace.
I was a force.
