Helping the Hartmans
On Saturday, September 4th, our dear friend, Tom Hartman had a serious accident while downhill mountain biking with family and friends. He broke two vertebrae and has limited movement and feeling in his limbs. After surgery to relieve pressure on his spinal cord, he is now in ICU with his wife, Marie, by his side. Marie is diligently working to get him into a spinal cord rehabilitation hospital as soon as possible. Obviously, medical costs are unknown but are sure to be extensive, and the road to recovery is long.
Tom and Marie have two young kids and both are self-employed. Both will be missing work for the foreseeable future as they focus on Tom's recovery. Tom and Marie are tremendously others-focused and are the first to offer help to anyone in need. And they are the last to ask for a thing! We feel helpless and are trying to brainstorm any way we can help the Hartmans, and I'm sure many of you are having the same thoughts. As the saying goes, "Many hands make light work." I think many donations make stress and financial impact lighter. If you feel like you want to do something to help, please join us in alleviating the financial burden for Tom and Marie.
And pray! Pray for full healing and restoration as God has shown through His Word! We stand with Tom and Marie and their family in full faith in our Lord!
All proceeds from this GoFundMe will go to Tom and Marie Hartman.
