Koy Woodward and Family

My husband, Koy Woodward passed away suddenly Friday January 19th. Koy was not on his bike, he was returning to work from his lunch break, driving his pickup. The initial reports are that he went thru a stop sign. The investigation is still ongoing. After going thru the stop sign, Koy was struck by a Semi truck on the passenger side. I thank God he did not suffer there were no noises of pain reported by bystanders who stopped to help him and also to pray over him. I thank god he was not alone.

Koy was only 38 yrs young and was father to our 6 beautiful children, Jaymi, Avery, David, Isaiah, Ilena and Albert(AJ).

We are a blended family and both had our children before we met, but we raised our kids together for 13 years.

These last few days have been surreal. Nobody tells you about all the tasks and requirements that happen after the fact.. Until it happens to you.

Koy and I had been working hard over the last 2 years especially, and had recently been qualified to buy a home.

Koy was also the bread winner of our home and had 20 years experience as a Welder.

On May 1st of 2023, Koy fulfilled his life long dream and bought his 1st Harley Davidson motorcyle, a 2016 Fat boy. We both went on the application to better our chances and we were approved!! He was ecstatic!! Those closest to us know that I rode with my husband, I did not care to ride by myself. We got the bike for him.

Unfortunately, I am still responsible for his bike.

I still have to pay for everything we had accumulated together, without his income to assist. The bills don't stop, even though my world has..

I am asking for donations to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses upcoming monthly bills and to help me to stay on top of payments on the bike until I can sell it.
