It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that NATS Helpline shares the heartbreaking news of the untimely passing of Koteswara Rao Chundi, a loving husband, devoted father, and dedicated professional working with Iron Mountain in Tampa, Florida.
Koteswara Rao tragically lost his life on the evening of June 7, 2026, in a devastating automobile accident in Lutz, Florida, reportedly caused by a driver operating a vehicle under the influence. In a matter of moments, a loving family lost its pillar of strength, and two children lost the guidance, protection, and love of their father.
Originally from Sandepudi village, Yadlapaadu Mandalam, Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh, Koteswara Rao came to the United States with dreams shared by many immigrants – to build a better future for his family through hard work, sacrifice, and determination. As the sole earning member of his family, he carried the responsibility of providing for his loved ones and worked tirelessly to ensure a secure future and quality education for his children.
His unexpected passing has left his wife, Suneeta garu, and their children facing unimaginable grief and uncertainty. Beyond the emotional loss, the family is now confronted with significant financial challenges as they navigate life without the person who served as their primary provider.
Beyond his professional career, Koteswara Rao was a familiar and respected member of the Telugu community who selflessly volunteered and contributed to NATS initiatives. Whether helping with community events, supporting fellow members, or giving his time whenever needed, he believed strongly in service and community. His sudden loss is being deeply felt not only by his family, but also by the many friends and community members whose lives he touched.
As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and support this family during one of the most difficult periods of their lives. The funds raised through this campaign will help provide:
• Immediate living and emergency expenses
• Funeral and cremation-related arrangements
• Household and day-to-day family needs
• Long-term educational support for their children
• Financial stability as the family navigates life after this tragic loss
No contribution is too small. Every donation, every share, and every prayer can make a meaningful difference in helping this family find stability, comfort, and hope during an incredibly painful time.
Koteswara Rao’s life was cut short far too soon, but his legacy will continue through the family he loved and worked tirelessly to support. Let us honor his memory by standing beside his wife and children when they need our community the most.
On behalf of NATS Helpline, we sincerely thank you for your generosity, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
