Hi, my name is Kota.

Today is my birthday. I finally feel that I am following my dream. Despite the challenges, I feel like I am finally doing something truly purposeful and fulfilling for both your hearts and mine.

I started producing music as a challenge from my mom when I was at my lowest wave during depression. Creating one sketch a week brought me a routine that helped me feel grounded. I never studied music, yet I feel it works as a medicine—it literally helped me to stay sane. I won the Female Producer Prize in 2023 from Sony Music Entertainment Germany and Music Women and got support from incredible musicians, so I've been able to form a band. Not only are these great multi-talented musicians, but also my friends, who support me musically and emotionally. The true crew, that I could only dream about.

The album we are working on right now is a collection of stories and myths that were so inspiring during this journey, and I dearly wish it will serve as a medicine to someone who hears it. This year, I got a scholarship from the State of Berlin so I can finally make my dream happen and produce my very own album. It is a blessing, but it is not enough to cover all the costs, so I am asking for your help. Please help me release this album.

How will I use your support? Apart from the great band I'm playing with, there are amazing musicians who play flutes,brass and various other instruments from different cultures that will bring the sound of this album to a different level. I don’t have enough budget yet to cover their payment. I also need some budget for promotion. Finally, my dream is to make this piece physical and press records.If you wish to support me on my journey, please donate as much as feels comfortable for you so that I can make my dream come true and release the album.
