On the afternoon of 11/20/2017 my mom recieved a call saying my sister (her daughter) had been kidnapped, and they demanded $5,000. My mom, like any mom, went and got that money. The scammers told her not to call the police or anyone, or else my sister would die. Meanwhile my sister was getting scammed by the same people who claimed she didnt show up for jury duty, which is false she never got summoned.  They requested Cash cards, and both of them followed & ended up getting scammed out of around $6,000. In the end it was all a scam, and no one was ever taken. My mom was harassed for 2 hours, and was a mess when they just hung up after getting the money. Its the holiday season and any type of donation would be greatly appriciated.
