Shelter and feed the Kose family after Earthquake

I am Julie Miles, a designer who has worked with artisans in Turkey for over 20 years. One of my longest partnerships has been with Ahmet Kose and his beautiful family.

The recent earthquake has devastated the Kose family of Malatya, Turkey. Ahmet's mother Asya, sister Rahime and 11 year old nephew Berat find themselves homeless and without clothing, food or personal effects. They have lost the only home they have ever known.

Young Berat school has been destroyed and we want to raise funds to relocate the Kose family to a safer area where they can build a new life, find a new school, and start new memories as a family.

All funds raised will go towards providing life's essentials and shelter for the family and to mother Asya's diabetes medicine.

This earthquake has devastated the lives of too many. The Kose family is one of thousands, but they are a family very close to my heart. A family who helped me and supported me over the years. It is a chance to give back to a family who deserves a second chance.

Funds will be sent to Ahmet who will assist his family in relocating and starting their new life in a town closer to Kas he lives and works.
